Responsibilities
- Improve integrations across the CLI, backend services, UI, and installer.
- Review code, provide constructive feedback, and help maintain healthy codebases.
Requirements
- You’ll contribute across our stack: backend services, test automation, CLI, installer, and the user interface.
- Some of the projects we maintain include: quipucords/quipucords – API and main web service quipucords/camayoc – integration test framework quipucords/quipucords-ui – Web UI quipucords/qpc – CLI Client quipucords-installer – Installer
- Continuously learn, experiment with new tools, and explore emerging AI technologies relevant to software development. What you will bring
- Experience developing in Python (JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus).
- Proficiency in Linux environments (services, configuration, logging, networking).
- Strong skills with git and GitHub/GitLab workflows.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and test automation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Harness, Jenkins, etc), containerized deployments (Podman, Quadlets), and related infrastructure tools.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks (React, PatternFly), relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), or a history of contributions to open source projects.
