Candidate will be part of the team that is architecting missile defense command and control and battle management systems in an environment that leverages existing or COTS/GOTS components with DoD interoperability in mind.
Candidate may assist in documenting or reviewing architectures in a MBSE tool such as CAMEO.
Maintains knowledge of current and developing technologies and design methodologies, in the area of DoD Command and Control and COTS/FOSS information technology products.

Experience with performing systems engineering for DoD Information Systems is desirable
Experience with creating and briefing chart packages for tooling or analysis performed Test
Experience as Technical Lead Systems Engineering SME or Systems Engineering technical leader in the Missile Defense, Space, or Link 16 Domain.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $118,700 - $209,300.
For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.

Candidate will participate in analyzing high level needs and through a structured and logical approach.
Candidate will be responsible for creating System Architecture solutions and concepts for a variety of new and emerging capabilities for the C2BMC system in collaboration with other Architects including lead Systems Architect, software architects, network architect, cyber architect. etc. Communicates and collaborates on System Architecture solutions with other teams such as software developers, networks engineers, cyber engineers, DevSecOps teams, infrastructure teams, test teams, and deployment teams.
This includes both physical architecture as well as logical architectures across the System. Additionally.
