Senior Business Analyst, Bank Consumer Analytics

Responsibilities

Synthesize targeted consumer insights to inform pricing, modeling, and marketing strategies to drive growth across the bank Execution: Leverage problem frameworks, develop hypotheses, identify and scope potential solutions, socialize insights and recommendations, and support ongoing stakeholder needs or monitoring Partnership: Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: Business Analysts, Market Researchers, Project/Product Managers, Data Analysts and others to drive actionable insights
Successful track record of driving an agenda and thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.
Analysis: Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them through research and analysis to generate strategic or tactical insights Marketing & Product Support: Maintain a competitive pulse on the industry, support direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products, and inform intent for products distributed through the retail channel.

Previous consulting experience is a plus. Basic
experience performing analysis Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer engineering, Software engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) A Master's Degree in a
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering 1+ years of
experience in Statistical model building 1+ years of
experience in SQL querying 2+ years of
