Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Patient Support Associates
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training
- Ensure medication access through refills, prior authorizations, and financial assistance
- Manage support across hospitals/clinics to ensure timely patient care
- Maintain service level goals and quality standards
- Oversee pharmacy workflows (claims, deliveries, coordination of care) 📊 Operations & Collaboration
- Conduct system audits and manage workflow efficiency
- Lead team meetings, track performance, and identify improvements
- Collaborate cross-functionally on projects and process enhancements ⚙️ Administrative
- Manage PTO, timekeeping, and reporting
- Coordinate training and system access
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive healthcare data ✅
Requirements
- Active Pharmacy Technician registration + CPhT certification
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred or in progress) 🧠 Skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word •
- Experience with pharmacy/EMR systems (Willow, QS1, RX30 a plus)
Experience
- 3+ years pharmacy technician experience ( specialty preferred )
