Responsibilities

Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

Applies knowledge of growth and development to deliver age-appropriate care.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia required.
De-escalation training required within 4 months of hire for Psychiatry and Behavioral Health roles and must be maintained thereafter.
Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP certification required. Other Minimum

Collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care across the inpatient setting. The LPN Inpatient Provides practical nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
Participates in the nursing process, including data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Contributes to the development and implementation of individualized interdisciplinary plans of care.
Identifies patient, family, and caregiver educational needs and incorporates education into the plan of care.
Implements prescribed treatments and therapeutic interventions.
Administers medications in accordance with provider orders and scope of practice.
