Strategy and Operations Manager - Global Affairs

Responsibilities

  • Run end-to-end workstreams (analytical, operational, or both) and deliver concrete outcomes
  • Deliver finished work — structured recommendations, options analyses, and strategic overviews — ready for VP or C-level review
  • Produce executive-grade materials (slide decks, reports, pre-reads, and decision briefs) to consulting standard, with clear arguments and defensible structure
  • Prepare meeting briefs with clear objectives, sensitivities, and recommended positions; write post-meeting summaries capturing actions, owners, and deadlines
  • Coordinate across VPs and working groups — Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Global Risk and Market Integrity, External Affairs, Corporate Affairs, and Institutional Affairs and Sustainability — maintaining alignment and ensuring follow-through
  • Maintain a commitment register: what was agreed, with whom, by when, and who owns delivery
  • Support the operating rhythm (weekly priorities and risks note, initiative tracker, decision log) and surface dependency clashes and blockers early, with a proposed resolution
  • Support workshop and strategic session design: agenda, facilitation, output capture, and follow-up What we are looking for 4–5 years of
  • Proven track record of scoping, structuring, and delivering complex strategic and analytical work independently •

Requirements

  • experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a high-performance corporate environment
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesise multi-source material into clear, actionable conclusions •
  • Experience coordinating across senior stakeholders in a cross-functional or matrix environment

  • Working within a vertical that spans Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Global Risk and Market Integrity, External Affairs, Corporate Affairs, and Institutional Affairs and Sustainability, you will have a direct impact on the quality and pace of decision-making at senior leadership level.
  • Scope and structure complex, ambiguous problems independently — define what needs to be answered, how, and by when
  • Synthesise conclusions from multiple inputs — data, stakeholder views, external context — into a single, defensible recommendation
  • Anticipate the questions a senior audience will ask and build the answers in before the meeting
  • Experience producing outputs for senior and board-level audiences under time pressure
