Requirements

  • As the Rotary & Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for pursuing, developing, and winning Rotary training and domain‑associated mission support business opportunities, supporting CAE’s strategy to sustain its leadership as Canada’s foremost training and military operational support company.
  • This role requires sound business development judgment, specialized Rotary environmental domain knowledge, and the ability to advance opportunities from identification through bid and into execution. Key
  • Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent practical
  • experience in a related technical field 12+ years of
  • experience in, or exposure to, Canadian defence procurement In‑depth knowledge of military air operations, maritime patrol, anti‑submarine warfare operations, or related technologies gained through military service or industry
  • experience Detailed understanding of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operations Strong business development skills, strategic mindset, and commercial acumen Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with OEMs and business partners Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to identify, develop, and execute business opportunities through the bid phase and into execution Ability to obtain and maintain a NATO SECRET Security Clearance and Controlled Goods
  • Qualifications Master of Business Administration (MBA) Bilingualism in English and French Strong knowledge of the aerospace domain In‑depth Air Force, helicopter, or rotary‑wing operational
  • experience Established professional network within the Canadian defence industry, including DND, PSPC, ISED, or equivalent Public Safety & Security organizations
