Responsibilities
- Support infrastructure planning related to training devices, facilities, and associated systems Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and RCAF representatives to support training program development and implementation.
- Support the design, development, and review of aviation training courseware, including classroom, simulator, and live-flight training content.
- Review module outlines, storyboards, lesson plans, and training materials for technical accuracy and alignment with approved training plans.
- Support courseware acceptance testing, validation and verification (V&V), and regression testing activities.
- Support the establishment and operational readiness of the training centre through stakeholder coordination and policy/procedure development.
- Analyze training requirements, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations.
- Identify and communicate situations where contract ed scope and training
Requirements
- Description As a Training Development Lead , you will support the development and implementation of the Basic Flight Training (BFT) program for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) .
- You will work for and report to the FAcT (Future Air Crew Training) Program’s Transition-In Manager , while also performing work for the Integration Solution team .
- Your tasks will have you working closely with the Contractor Qualified Flight Instructors (CQFIs), Courseware Development team, Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs), and RCAF representatives to ultimately help ensure training solutions align with program
- Travel may be required to locations such as Ottawa, Montreal, Moose Jaw, and other program sites as needed. Key
- Experience delivering aviation-related training.
- Ability to travel within Canada as required .
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Controlled Goods clearance and Reliability status Ability to obtain any required export/re-transfer authorizations in accordance with applicable ITAR regulations.
- Qualifications Technical education or equivalent experience
- Experience with Grob 120TP aircraft operations or training.
- Experience supporting aviation training, business start-up, transition, or stand-up activities.
- Experience with simulator technologies and synthetic training devices.
- Experience as an RCAF pilot instructor or supporting military pilot training programs.
- Experience supporting pilot training program design and development, curriculum design, curriculum management, instructional systems design, or learning science .
- Experience reviewing or developing academic and simulator-based training materials.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a complex training or operational environment.
Experience
- Qualifications Minimum 10 years of flying experience.

- Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on Astra II aircraft systems and associated flight operations.
- Contribute to the development and integration of training devices, learning technologies, IT services, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Assist with flight training operations design, ground-based training systems design, and training device development when required .
- experience : demonstrated military flying experience. Preferred
- Experience or strong knowledge for infrastructure systems.
