- The Opportunity We are currently seeking an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Technician to join our Canada Gas Operations team based in Drumheller, AB.
- Controls Technicians repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform other planned maintenance and corrective tasks on assigned electronic, electrical, pneumatic and/or mechanical control systems, devices, and ancillary equipment.
- Reporting to the Area Manager (Wheatland Area), the EIC Controls Technician will operate and maintain natural gas compression and auxiliary equipment (including but not limited to industrial gas turbines, natural gas generators, boilers, air compressors, and PLC control systems) in a manner which meets operational needs in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- This position is eligible for overtime, and the regular work schedule will be: Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 9 hours per day; Friday off Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 9 hours per day; 8 hours on Friday What you’ll do Perform installation, testing, repair, and maintenance on compressor station equipment, and other facilities relevant to the pipeline system as required Conduct routine regular maintenance on gas turbine packages, gas compressor units and associated auxiliary equipment Troubleshoot, test, &
