Responsibilities
- JOB DESCRIPTION: Oversee and optimize maintenance activities to maximize production uptime, safety, and equipment reliability at our Dubuque, IA Assembly plant.
- Lead a team of technicians, manage maintenance systems, and collaborate with operations and engineering for continuous improvement. PRIMARY
- Supervise daily repairs, inspections, and special project tasks across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Oversee building upkeep—repairs, HVAC, grounds, janitorial—ensuring safe and compliant facilities.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement; conduct regular safety and training sessions.
- Track and maintain work orders, equipment history, spares inventory, and KPIs.
- Manage spare parts stock—optimize inventory levels and reduce obsolescence.
- Track performance metrics (PM compliance, cost control, uptime) and recommend improvements.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Review and enforce safety protocols—LOTO, PPE usage—and document compliance activities.
- Equipment & Facility Maintenance: Plan, organize, and direct preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
- REQUIREMENTS: 4-year degree in engineering, technology, management, or equivalent experience
- Experience with world-class manufacturing practices (TPM, 5S, Lean, etc.) Maintenance management
