Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor the Quality Assurance (QA) and compliance monitoring system across training centers in South, Central, and North America.
  • Establish and oversee local QA auditor teams, as needed.
  • Plan, coordinate, execute, and document site Quality/Compliance audits to ensure adherence to: Civil aviation authority regulations Applicable contractual requirements Relevant customer
  • Ensure follow-up actions are completed within agreed timelines and escalate non-compliance issues when necessary.
  • Identify and coordinate improvements to the QA/compliance monitoring system.
  • Produce regular QA reports by training center, regulatory jurisdiction, and business unit.
  • Prepare and conduct quarterly Quality Management Reviews with key stakeholders and regulatory representatives.
  • Ensure QA reporting aligns with global QA policies, objectives, and best practices.
  • Deliver or coordinate Quality Management System (QMS)/Compliance Monitoring training across training locations.
  • Train, coordinate, and oversee the work of local quality auditors across the Americas.
  • Perform secondary duties when required (e.g., Export/ITAR control reviews).

Requirements

  • experience in quality assurance or compliance auditing in the aviation industry.
  • Basic knowledge of aviation regulatory principles.
  • Functional proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently with sound judgment and prioritization skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks across locations simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, training, technical teams).
  • Ability to interact professionally with external stakeholders, including customers and regulators.
