Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and micro-services to support frontend applications.
- Optimise system performance, security, and reliability for large-scale cloud applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, security teams, and DevOps engineers to drive backend innovation.
- Implement authentication, authorisation, and security best practices.
- Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
Requirements

- Work with Go / Python/ Java to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.
- experience in front end development , with exposure to full-stack development.
- Expertise in any of the programming languages such as React/Javascript Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, and micro-services architecture .
- Experience with databases (such as PostgreSQL) .
- Proficiency in asynchronous programming, multithreading, and performance optimisation .
- Familiarity with message queues (such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS) .
- Strong understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorisation mechanisms .
- Proficiency in AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and ECS.
- Familiarity with AI native tools (such as lang chain , lang fuse) and
- experience in development lifecycle with AI-DLC Bonus Points for
- Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS) and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with AWS services or AZURE services .
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) .
- Familiarity with cybersecurity products like XDR, MDR, SOC Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks like NIST, MITRE Strong
- experience with Git for version control.
