Responsibilities
- Validate payroll inputs (hires, terminations, changes, bonuses, leaves, allowances, shifts, etc.) and reconcile payroll outputs from external providers.
- Ensure compliance with labor law, social security, taxation, and internal payroll controls, supporting internal and external audits as required.
- Prepare, analyze, and validate monthly payroll reports for HR, Finance, and management.
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and digitalization of payroll activities, ensuring alignment with global standards where applicable.
Requirements
- What We're looking forw Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). 5+ years of payroll
- experience in Spain; exposure to Portugal payroll is a strong advantage. Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law, social security, taxation, and payroll compliance. Proven
- experience working with external payroll providers (e.g., ADP, SD Worx, or similar ). Solid
- experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Workday, SAP HR, Meta4, or similar), with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, service orientation, confidentiality, plus fluency in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus) and availability to work from the Madrid area.
