Responsibilities
- Develop and verify analog and mixed-signal circuits, including work involving PID controller behaviour, stability, and tuning.
- Build embedded and low-level firmware to support lab characterisation, test automation, and prequalification of PCBAs before software integration.
- Design for safety, EMC, and isolation, including protective and safety ‑ critical circuits to achieve single ‑ fault safety , considering dielectric strength, leakage current, creepage , and clearance.
- Design and execution of laboratory experiments to characterise power consumption, temperature rise, humidity and airflow, using sound experimental technique and Design of Experiments (DoE) to explore multi ‑ factor interactions.
- Collaborate across software, systems, and mechanical engineering, while supporting verification, documentation, supplier work, and manufacturing readiness.
Requirements
- What You Bring A bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering. Relevant industry
- experience in electronics design and development. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills. Nice to have
- Experience in thermodynamic analysis .
- Experience designing humidification systems.

- You will join the Engineering function within the Product Organisation and help create new products, plus improvements to existing ones.
- You will work in the Consumer and Growth department as part of a cross-functional humidification technology team.
- The role supports innovative solutions for sleep apnoea, COPD, and other chronic diseases that improve millions of lives .
- Your work will span component selection , circuit design, compliance testing, prototyping, and supplier management.
- You will also help shape humidification technologies across device platforms, with products designed for high-volume manufacturing to the high est standards of quality and safety.
- What You’ll Do Design, simulate, prototype, document, and test electronics that meet electrical, thermal, safety, regulatory and reliability requirements .
- Select components such as microcontrollers , switching power converters and sensors that meet electrical, thermal, safety, regulatory, and reliability requirements.
- Apply first-principles physics to electronics design across heaters, sensors, and electrical, thermal, and fluid interactions.
- Specification and design of interconnects, including wiring looms, flex circuits and connectors, with appropriate electrical , thermal and mechanical ratings.
- Documentation in support of product development including design descriptions, DFMEAs, verification protocols, verification reports and electrical manufacturing specifications.
