Requirements

What you’ll need to succeed: You possess a High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
A 2-, 3-, or 4-year degree in a Science-related field is preferred.
It is not required to work in our lab, but if you were a Veterinary Technician (RVT, LVT, CVT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT or MT), this

As a Laboratory Technician at IDEXX, you perform laboratory testing that helps veterinarians diagnose and treat pets.
You will be a key contributor at one of the largest veterinary diagnostic companies in the world, joining a fast-paced work environment that encourages teamwork, quality, and offers opportunities for personal growth.
You will perform diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal, or pet biopsy samples that we receive in our lab by the thousands, every day.
You will set up and run lab tests, then read and release results according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
You can expect to specialize in one or more of the following departments: Parasitology : In this area, you'll be preparing fecal samples for diagnosis.
You'll be helping to process samples so that we can identify parasites, utilizing fecal flotation and various microscopic techniques.
experience and education would be a plus. Ideally, you will have
experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests, and operating laboratory equipment (microscopes, pipetting, and/or clinical diagnostic analyzers).
