Requirements

A core focus of this position is supporting Unum’s Total Leave teams through deep expertise in Fineos and custom Fineos development—including hands‑on configuration, Java‑based enhancements, and the integration of Fineos components into Unum’s broader ecosystem.
Job Specifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent relevant
experience in a Scrum/Agile environment Strong Java development skills, including J2EE technologies (JSP, JMS) and integrations (Web Services, APIs)
Experience with Fineos Admin Suite (Claims) configurations and Java customizations
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL) and strong SQL query skills Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail Skilled in Agile methodologies, TDD, unit testing, and automation toolsets
Experience with continuous integration and delivery practices Strong communication skills with

In this role, you will contribute to the conceptualization, design, development, and delivery of features across the Total Leave portfolio, working collaboratively with business area architects to shape and advance technical solutions.

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below.
Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience. $89,400.00-$183,500.00 Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of
