Manufacturing Associate - Tier 4 (1st 5x8)

Responsibilities

Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities.
Operate manufacturing equipment and use hand tools as required.
Identify problems, communicate issues to Crew Leads and Supervisors, and assist with problem-solving.
Support a respectful workplace.
Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management.
Work in a safe manner and follow safety policies.

Participate in required 5S and Autonomous Maintenance activities.
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer skills. Minimum of one year
experience in a related field or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities.
Ability to read and understand reports and a willingness to cross train on several operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION: POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for fabrication, assembly operations, and managing the flow of material throughout the plant by performing the following duties: PRIMARY
Help ensure co-workers are working safely and following safety policies.
Follow all applicable procedures, Standardized Work, Control Plans, and Product Specifications.
Learn, understand and implement AMS and continuous improvement concepts.
Work to an established rate as defined by customer demand and Standardized Work.
May or may not operate a powered industrial truck (PIT) based on operations/department need.
