- experience in a related industry Thorough understanding of stop work authority (SWA) and safe work practices Knowledge and understanding of lock out/tag out (LOTO) procedures Basic knowledge of engine mechanics
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and related software Preferred
- Qualifications Associates degree to include courses in engine maintenance or electricity/electronics
- Experience with Allen Bradley and/or Bristol controls
- Experience with various types of gas measurement testing equipment Thorough understanding of the test equipment used to maintain control systems
- Experience with PLC’s, pneumatic and electronic valves, transmitters, switches and Regulators Ability to interpret technical reference documents This position requires candidate to: Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record Successfully complete a pre-employment medical screening, including drug and alcohol testing Be subject to call out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and work extended days and/or weeks for emergency response purposes Travel to other company locations for and

- We are seeking an experienced Electrical, Instrumentation, & Controls Technician to join our Big Rapids Maintenance Office, who is proficient in troubleshooting, maintaining, and operating natural gas measurement equipment, compressor station control systems, and other related facilities.
- This individual must be a self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision, who possesses excellent problem solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
- What you’ll do Install, commission, test, repair, and maintain compressor station, meter station, communication systems.
- and other facilities related to the pipeline system Oversee, direct, and perform tasks related to the installation, start up, and repair of measurement and regulation equipment, such as: various types of meters, recording gauges, flow computers, LCEM units, transmitters, relief valves, regulators, valve actuators, pneumatic and digital controllers, filtration devices, odorizers, and gas quality devices (chromatographs and gas samplers) Perform routine and major maintenance on natural gas driven compressor
