- Strive, Develop and Succeed We are currently recruiting for an experienced a Quarry Manager to lead the team at our Axedale Sand & Gravel Quarry in Country Victoria, 25 minutes East of Bendigo.
- Reporting to the Area Manager, this role is a multi-faceted role leading the quarry and overseeing the daily management of the operation, including production, continuous improvement, health & safety, logistics and full P&L responsibility.
- In your new role, you will be: Leading and managing people while bringing your team along the journey to successfully achieve goals.
- Making business decisions that impact the overall performance of the business, including achieving agreed targets / KPIs, financial planning, budgeting and managing costs within budget.
- Managing the day-to-day operations where you are responsible for quarry development, storm water and environmental management, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Focused on continuing our approach to rehabilitation and maintaining our reputation within the industry and community as a responsible and sustainable partner.
- Bring a strong safety mindset and manage high risk activities and reduce risk exposure for self and others.
