- WorkOS powers enterprise features for many of the fastest-growing AI companies, including OpenAI, Cursor, and Perplexity, Vercel, and Plaid.
- As AI reshapes software, WorkOS is at the frontier of Human and Agent Authentication, Identity, and Access Control—helping companies answer a new critical question: who are your agents, and what are they allowed to do? Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
- About the role 💭 The Product Design team shapes the interfaces and experiences that developers interact with every day — from the Dashboard and Admin Portal to AuthKit and our developer documentation.
- We embrace a range of AI tools throughout our workflow, leaning on emerging technologies to improve our workflows and create product innovation.
- You'll navigate ambiguity, adapt when feedback challenges your direction, and evaluate tradeoffs while continuing to raise the quality bar across the platform. - Improve existing products across the entire platform (WorkOS Dashboard, Admin Portal, AuthKit, and more), with a focus on usability, accessibility, performance, and consistency.
- The best part: we have Slack channels with each customer! - Contribute to our design system in Figma and code (WorkDS and Radix), creating, adapting, and deprecating patterns to keep the platform feeling like one product. - Experiment with AI tools and emerging workflows to accelerate exploration and prototyping.
- When you find something that works, share it with the team. - Collaborate across product design, brand design, engineering, solutions engineering, and go-to-market to define, shape, and ship products.
- Experience with developer tools, enterprise software, or technical B2B products is preferred. - Demonstrated systems thinking: you know when to create a new pattern, adapt an existing one to different contexts, recognize when a pattern is needed, and know when to kill one. - You account for real-world complexity — edge cases, error and empty states, accessibility, and technical constraints — without letting process slow you down.
- Experience running user research and translating feedback into insights that shape product direction — including knowing what to prioritize and where design will have the most impact.
- - Proficiency with Figma and a curiosity for what comes next – you should be excited to explore new tools and workflows and share what you learn with the team.
- - Front-end code familiarity, you'll contribute directly to our design system and ship improvements to production, incorporating AI-assisted development into your daily workflow.
