Design and implement data models and pipelines specifically tailored to IFRS 17 reporting requirements •
Develop comprehensive data solutions that support complex insurance contract accounting standards •
Create robust data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for IFRS 17 compliance
optimise our existing centralized data warehouse for financial and actuarial analysis •
design technical strategies and infrastructure to facilitate self-service business intelligence, including strategies to deploy data warehouse changes with CI/CD pipelines
prepare automated reports for strategic projects and regulatory reporting •
develop and maintain data quality checks and validation mechanisms
Requirements
[must have] 3+ year of experience as a data engineer •
[proficient] Data Modelling techniques using SQL • [proficient] Has
experience in a cross-collaboration working environment: both with the engineering team and business users, being able to listen to user stories, and consolidate business requirements •
[proficient] Good understanding of software engineering practices • [highly preferable]
Experience in IFRS 17 related project •
[preferable] High-level knowledge in cloud-based infrastructure and services (preferably in AWS) • [fair]

You will be working in a fast-paced organization that promotes cross-functional collaboration.
On a daily basis, you will collaborate hands-on with backend engineers and business users — specifically the Finance and Actuarial team — to architect, maintain and promote a secure self-service BI solution, including but not limited to, data warehousing, ETL pipelines, automations and various reporting systems for these teams.
