Responsibilities
- Design, evaluate, and maintain electrical systems including power distribution, backup power, and control systems Lead and support preventative and corrective maintenance efforts for critical electrical infrastructure Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support capital projects, system upgrades, and operational improvements Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal policies
Requirements
- Experience As an Electrical Engineer at Williams, you’ll be immersed in a dynamic and high-tech environment where your expertise directly supports the reliability and performance of our operations.
- experience in electrical engineering within the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE certification Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E)
- Experience with power systems, including low and medium voltage distribution, UPS systems, and generators Proficiency in engineering tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, or similar) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and reliability Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams A proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement #LI-RS1 We invest in our people in ways that actually show
