Selection criteria will also include an interview, pre-employment written and hands-on assessment that will take place at an Xcel training facility.
Summary The qualified candidate will be able to perform mechanical maintenance and related tasks at a reliable hydro generating station.
Requirements Must have completed a Millwright Apprentice program, or have 5+ years in heavy industrial mechanical maintenance, or documented related mechanical training.
Must be able to wear negative air respirator or PAPR and lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in hot or cold environments, work in dusty, noisy, low light environments, perform tasks that involve standing, bending, twisting and lifting for 10 - 16 hour periods and perform other physical tasks associated with mechanical maintenance duties at a reliable hydro generating station.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
