Lab Technician (1 year FTC)

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, troubleshoot, and maintain prototype units and specialized test equipment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct testing, fault isolation, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Develop, execute, and document test procedures and results.
  • Maintain accurate records of test activities, findings, and technical updates.
  • Operate laboratory and diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters.
  • Support updates to technical documentation, work instructions, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements

  • Experience Required Diploma, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of relevant
  • experience in engineering, technical support, product development, or manufacturing environments. Hands-on
  • experience with testing, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis of electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, schematics, and laboratory test equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in product development, R&D, or a regulated industry such as medical technology.
  • Knowledge of design verification testing, root cause analysis, and quality systems.

  • As a Lab Technician, you will support product development activities through prototype assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of engineering test equipment.
