Lab Technician (1 year FTC)

Responsibilities

Assemble, troubleshoot, and maintain prototype units and specialized test equipment.
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Conduct testing, fault isolation, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting activities.
Develop, execute, and document test procedures and results.
Maintain accurate records of test activities, findings, and technical updates.
Operate laboratory and diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters.
Support updates to technical documentation, work instructions, and troubleshooting guides.

Experience Required Diploma, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of relevant
experience in engineering, technical support, product development, or manufacturing environments. Hands-on
experience with testing, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis of electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems.
Familiarity with engineering drawings, schematics, and laboratory test equipment.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience in product development, R&D, or a regulated industry such as medical technology.
Knowledge of design verification testing, root cause analysis, and quality systems.

As a Lab Technician, you will support product development activities through prototype assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of engineering test equipment.
Working closely with engineers and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure product quality, reliability, and timely project delivery. Key
Responsibilities Support the design, build, modification, and testing of prototype mechanical and electronic systems.
Assist engineers in resolving technical issues and improving product performance and reliability.
Provide technical support and knowledge sharing within the team. Qualifications &
