Responsibilities

- Serve as a Process Engineer in our Bayport plant, supporting multiple coating lines, responding to day-to-day production needs such as equipment troubleshooting and quality concerns Partner with operations, RD&I, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements within the value-stream through new process and technology development Use a science-based approach and tools to solve complex technical problems with practical solutions (i.e., design of experiments, process
Requirements
- Candidates for this role should have a strong technical aptitude, willingness to learn in a hands-on environment, and have a strong bias for action. PRIMARY
- QUALIFICATIONS: 4 year degree in Engineering (chemical engineering preferred) Strong aptitude in problem solving using analytical tools, making process improvements and technical writing.
- Strong communication and project management skills with ability to work in a cross functional team environment. Knowledge and
- experience with quality systems, statistical process control, process capability and lean manufacturing tools.
