Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting functions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Lead the design and continuous improvement of financial workflows, with a focus on reducing month-end close timelines and automating manual data entry processes.
- Coordinate and oversee external audits and tax filings, working closely with auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to optimize the company’s financial position.
- Ensure the accounting team is trained, motivated, and aligned with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA license required.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems. Proven
- experience in a small to mid-size organization. •
- Experience with commission automation software.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite required.
- Salesforce or comparable CRM for sales data reconciliation. Preferred: •
- Experience with Bill.com, Captivate, Stripe, and Maxio.
- Advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis tools. •
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing change in dynamic environments. Benefits:

- Base Salary: $175,000–$190,000 depending on experience and [REQUIREMENTS] qualifications
- Annual Performance Bonus: 30% of base salary, tied to company and individual goals
