  • experience in natural gas transmission pipeline operation and maintenance.
  • What you’ll do Ensure facilities and personnel comply with TC Energy's safety, health, environment and risk standards Perform inspections related to valve servicing, troubleshooting and repair Assist with all aspects of pipeline isolation and gas handling Support various tasks associated with inline inspection Perform basic One Call line locates Assist with all types of Line Crossings (foreign or seismic) of TransCanada Pipe Assets Identify encroachment issues. Minimum
  • Qualifications Journeyman certification in a trade or two years of post-secondary training 2 - 5 years related work experience Preferred
  • experience related to Pipeline maintenance activities
  • Experience with valve operation, inspection, maintenance and repair
  • Experience operating and maintaining high pressure natural gas pipelines and/or facilities Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and/or SAP
  • All applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based, without restrictions.

  • The Opportunity Our Lakehead Pipeline team is expanding our team in one of Iles Des Chene, MB, Kenora, ON, or Thunder Bay, ON, to support our Canadian Natural Gas Pipelines business.
  • This position requires application of mechanical and technical skills to ensure our natural gas transmission pipelines meet the availability, reliability and safe continuous operation.
  • This individual has the proven skills, competencies and capacity to act as the primary isolation coordinator.
  • They will also operate, maintain, test, and inspect our natural gas pipeline, valves & operators as well as associated pipeline building assemblies in a manner which meets operational needs in compliance with company and regulatory needs.
