Responsibilities
- Develop curriculum, conduct instruction, and maintain JID courses Liaison with operational Combatant Commander staffs for exercise planning and preparation.
- Prepare or review OPTASK LINK messages for use in JTO exercises.
- Perform analysis of multi-TDL architecture performance and institute changes based on observations.
- Coordinate with development and acquisition agencies for procurement of, and evaluate JICO automated tools.
- Maintain configuration management of the JICO automated tools.
- Operate the Link 16 Pulse Deconfliction Server (LPDS) and assist users with Frequency Clearance and Time Slot Duty Factor (TSDF) issues.
- Represent JID at joint and combined interoperability working groups.
- Develop, instruct, revise, and maintain JID course materials.
- Perform curriculum reviews, courseware development, and multimedia enhancements, especially in an electronic classroom.
- Support worldwide deployed mobile training team requirements.
Requirements
- responsibilities as the JCS proponent for the Joint Tactical Operations (JTO) Interface Training Program, with the objective of ensuring that operational forces can exploit the full capability of JTO Interface Systems.
- Support covers the full range of functions required to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage the JTO training program, including courseware development and worldwide formal academic training and joint exercise support to support joint, allied, and coalition air and ground forces in the employment of JTO Interface capabilities.
- Assist in selection, modification, or request of Link 16 networks to support JTO 2 exercises.
- Requirements Graduate of JT-301 Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and related experience. 10 years of Datalink experience Military Instructor
- experience Capable of worldwide deployment supporting Mobile Training Teams, often under field 3 conditions Secret security clearance required. Preferred Skills
- Experience in Variable Message Format over Combat Net Radio (VMF over CNR)
- Experience in Digitally Aided Close Air Support (DACAS)
- Experience in Simulations or live virtual construct (LVC) development and execution, which required tactical data link integration Expertise in operating, integration, configuring, and modifying various C2/TDL systems such as BC3, MSCT, TDF, CAC2S, ADSI, TRAX, JRE, MOJO, FAADC2, etc.
- Experience with planning, building, and requesting new networks with the service Network Design Facility Security
