  • Design, and conduct analysis of analog circuits including low-noise signal conditioning and power amplifiers.
  • Collaborate with peers, leads, and managers to develop, review, and refine designs and analyses to meet program technical needs within defined time and budget constraints.

  • Qualifications: Master's degree in electrical engineering with 8 years'
  • experience or a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a minimum of 10 years'
  • experience in design, analysis, integration, and test of custom electronics can be considered instead of a master's degree.
  • Experience designing high speed digital electronics including the use of ADCs, DACs, FPGAs, processors, and communications drivers.
  • Experience designing and conducting analysis of analog circuits including low-noise signal conditioning and power amplifiers Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools (such as Altium, SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, HyperLynx, and MS Office).
  • Ability to conduct circuit analysis and simulation to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Qualifications: Understanding of space qualification standards and requirements.
  • Experience designing custom electronics for space products.
  • Experience with analysis necessary for high reliability space electronics hardware (Electrical stress analysis, worst case circuit analysis and reliability analysis).
  • Experience and understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Experience producing board layouts is a plus. Understanding of relevant IPC standards needed for electrical design and fabrication.
  • Experience leading sub-assemblies or circuit card designs with small teams of two or three.
  • Experience developing and conducting testing of complex electronic sub-assemblies along with design of special test equipment (STE).
  • Experience developing design and verification documentation (Interface Control Document/Drawings (ICD), Design Description Document (DDD), Test Plan, Test Procedures, Test Reports, etc.).
  • Written and verbal communication skills necessary to present designs to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in an office and production environment (Constant) Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent) ITAR Requirement: This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
