Responsibilities
- Review legacy Windows operating systems across the environment and develop remediation and treatment plans.
- Coordinate operating system upgrades, replacements and decommissioning activities.
- Drive cyber hygiene initiatives that improve the organisation's overall security posture.
- Review privileged access accounts and support Privileged Access Management (PAM) improvement activities.
- Support the implementation and maturity uplift of the Essential Eight framework.
- Analyse security logs and work closely with SIEM platforms to improve monitoring and visibility.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security and operational teams to deliver multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Identify risks, track remediation activities and ensure delivery milestones are achieved.
Requirements
- experience delivering cyber hygiene or cyber uplift initiatives. Strong
- Experience developing remediation or treatment plans for unsupported infrastructure. Practical understanding of the Essential Eight maturity model.
- Experience reviewing privileged access accounts and identity security controls.
- Ability to manage multiple technical workstreams within a small, agile team.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to drive outcomes with minimal supervision. Highly Desirable
- Experience working on enterprise cyber uplift or security remediation programs. Broad technical capability across multiple cyber security domains.
- Experience working within government or large enterprise environments. Knowledge of vulnerability management and infrastructure remediation.
- Experience improving cyber maturity frameworks.
