Responsibilities
- Record and track maintenance activities using the maintenance management system.
- Perform pre‑flight and post‑flight checks on assigned simulators.
- Conduct basic visual alignments.
- Support simulator refurbishment and hardware modification activities.
- Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain simulators in required condition.
- Carry out logistics duties, including parts receiving, repair coordination, and testing/validation.
- Perform additional tasks in support of the Technical Services group as assigned. Minimum
- Description Learn and perform preventive maintenance on flight simulators and associated simulator systems.
Requirements
- Complete all required and designated training activities.
- Qualifications Diploma in Electronics Technology, Robotics, Avionics, or an equivalent field. 0–2 years of relevant technical or maintenance experience.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
- Ability to interpret system diagrams and schematics.
- Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Knowledge of analog and digital theory.
- Computer architecture knowledge and general IT literacy.
- Proficiency in soldering and circuit board repair.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and applications. Fluency in English. Preferred
- Qualifications Demonstrated interest in aviation. Mechanical aptitude.

- As part of the Technical Services department within CAE’s Civil Training and Services division, perform all preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on several CAE and non-CAE flight simulators and associated devices at the CAE Training Center.
