Responsibilities
- - Lead customs brokerage and trade compliance strategy, ensuring adherence to ITAR, DFARS, EAR, etc.
- - Build and maintain KPI dashboards to manage logistics spend, on-time delivery, and carrier/broker performance across the supply base.
- - Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of a Transportation Management System (TMS) to enable scalable, data-driven logistics operations.
- - Lead supplier negotiations, contract execution, and ongoing performance management across the logistics supply base.
- - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve process efficiency, cost, and service levels across the logistics function.
Requirements
- QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field required; MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred. - Deep
- experience across all modes of domestic and international transportation, including air, ocean, rail, trucking, parcel, and intermodal. -
- Experience with defense trade compliance regulations including ITAR, DFARS, and EAR; additional relevant compliance certifications a plus. - Strong background in supplier performance management, contract negotiations, and logistics contracting. - 3–5+ years of
- experience leading and developing a team. - Proven track record managing numerous suppliers across several concurrent programs with global scope. -
- Experience with TMS platforms and logistics data/analytics tools. - Demonstrated ability to deliver cost savings, drive process improvement, and operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
