Due Diligence Senior Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program due diligence reviews - from a program’s kickoff to post-launch continuous periodic reviews.
  • Drive assessments overseeing regulatory, financial, operational, and reputational risks - with a high degree of independence, proactiveness, and accountability for outcomes.
  • Manage relationships and projects with cross-functional partners on due diligence workstreams, including external global enterprise companies, and banks across the US, Canada, EU, etc. Host walkthrough calls / presentations on the due diligence workstreams.
  • Own and evolve risk assessment frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools that track program health and support informed decision-making by senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with LRC and GTM teams to ensure program compliance with bank-specific requirements, managing competing timelines with focus and precision.
  • Identify opportunities to improve PDD processes and contribute to the continuous evolution of Marqeta's Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework, including Salesforce tooling enhancements, AI-tool development/integrations, risk mitigation improvements, and program onboarding experience upgrades Who You Are 3–5+ years of

Requirements

  • You'll also partner with Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to guide customers through the Due Diligence process to program launch, and support bank requests across Marqeta's bank partners across the US, Canada, and EU.
  • This role goes beyond execution: you'll own workstreams, shape risk frameworks, and bring a consultative, independent perspective that elevates how the PDD team operates.
  • experience in due diligence, third-party risk management, compliance, project/program management, or a related field - ideally within a fintech, payments, or financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple multi-stakeholder reviews/projects from kickoff to delivery, navigating ambiguity with confidence and sound judgment.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks applicable to card issuing, payments, or program management.
  • Comfortable working in, improving, adopting common collaboration and productivity tools and risk management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Slack, Google Workspace, dashboards, reporting platforms).
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment Nice-To-Haves •
  • Experience with the financial technology space, card payment issuance, program managers, or payment processors •
  • Experience supporting bank partnerships, due diligence reviews, or audits and examinations
  • CAMS certification or equivalent AML/BSA credential is a plus Your Manager

  • You'll be a key member of the Program Due Diligence (PDD) team within Risk & Compliance, partnering with subject matter experts across Legal, Financial Crimes, Information Security, Finance, etc. to evaluate programs before and after launch.
