Requirements
- Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a strong accounting focus and a minimum of two (2) years of accounting
- experience in the energy industry Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Additional
- Requirements Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to safety Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial skills Effective communication and collaboration across teams Ability to work outside normal business hours during peak periods (e.g., quarter-end) Preferred
- Qualifications Familiarity with U.S. GAAP
- Experience with FERC regulatory accounting and financial reporting
- Experience with regulatory accounting practices

- Responsibilities / Expectations Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and variance analysis Support regulated financial reporting, including monthly close, quarterly, and year-end processes Prepare and maintain schedules, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders Provide clear documentation and explanations to support internal and external audits Analyze large data sets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities
