  • Document work performed and communicate with technicians or supervisors regarding job status.

Requirements

  • This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of paint, body filler, finishes, spray equipment, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Key
  • Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
  • Experience in automotive painting, refinishing, or collision repair.
  • Knowledge of paint mixing, application techniques, and finishing processes.
  • Ability to operate spray guns, sanding tools, and refinishing equipment.
  • Qualifications Certification in automotive refinishing or collision repair.
  • Experience working in a body shop or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Blast booth environment with PPE required.

  • Position Summary The Painter is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing trailer surfaces and parts to restore or enhance appearance according to company quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Responsibilities Prepare trailer or parts surfaces by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming prior to painting.
  • Mix and match paint colors to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
  • Apply primers, sealers, base coats, and clear coats using spray equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Electronically recording products sprayed and amounts of products used.
  • Operating a blast booth and performing material prep with blast media. Required
  • Understanding and following safety practices and chemical handling procedures.
  • Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods. Preferred
