Responsibilities
- Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure high-quality finish standards.
- Repair minor surface imperfections, including scratches, dents, and corrosion areas.
- Maintain painting equipment, spray booths, and tools in proper working condition.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and hazardous material handling regulations.
- Perform quality checks and complete touch-ups as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Document work performed and communicate with technicians or supervisors regarding job status.
Requirements
- This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of paint, body filler, finishes, spray equipment, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Key
- Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
- Experience in automotive painting, refinishing, or collision repair.
- Knowledge of paint mixing, application techniques, and finishing processes.
- Ability to operate spray guns, sanding tools, and refinishing equipment.
- Qualifications Certification in automotive refinishing or collision repair.
- Experience working in a body shop or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Blast booth environment with PPE required.

- Position Summary The Painter is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing trailer surfaces and parts to restore or enhance appearance according to company quality standards and safety procedures.
- Responsibilities Prepare trailer or parts surfaces by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming prior to painting.
- Mix and match paint colors to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
- Apply primers, sealers, base coats, and clear coats using spray equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Electronically recording products sprayed and amounts of products used.
- Operating a blast booth and performing material prep with blast media. Required
- Understanding and following safety practices and chemical handling procedures.
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods. Preferred
- Work Environment Body shop or manufacturing facility setting.
