Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of software engineers in owning all consumer-facing features for our prediction markets product.
Define technical roadmaps, establish coding standards, and maintain operational excellence for our prediction market systems.

In this leadership position, you will serve as a key partner in growing this business, which represents the fastest-growing segment in Robinhood’s history! You will oversee the delivery of scalable UIs that enable customers to trade on diverse categories such as financials, crypto, sports, and politics.
Experience managing and leading software engineering teams that deliver high-frequency or high-volume transactional systems.
experience with a strong front-end focus, including proficiency in modern frameworks and languages.
experience collaborating with product management and design partners to launch user-facing products.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands.
The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.
For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process. Base Pay Range:
Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC) $230,000 — $270,000 USD Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL) $203,000 — $238,000 USD Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL) $180,000 — $211,000 USD

As the Engineering Manager for Prediction Markets, you will lead a team of software engineers focused on building the complete user
Additionally, you will guide technical architecture, mentor engineers, and help define how the event contracts space evolves across the industry.
This role is based in our New York, NY office, with in-person attendance expected at least 5 days per week.
