Senior Field Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute Caylent's event marketing activities including conferences, partner events, trade shows, customer roundtables, and executive dinners, managing an average of 12 to 20 events at any given time.
  • Manage events autonomously from end-to-end: scoping, budgeting, vendor negotiation, onsite logistics, and post-event reporting.
  • Oversee budgets with discipline, proactively communicating overages or funding requests before they occur.
  • Negotiate with vendors and partners to secure favorable terms, services, and event experiences.
  • Hold Sales accountable to event expectations and ensure teams operate within approved budgets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Alliances, and Operations teams on campaign tracking, collateral, and event reporting.
  • Design registration pages and event communications, and coordinate social promotion campaigns.

Requirements

  • Caylent is a cloud native services company that helps organizations bring the best out of their people and technology using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • We provide a full-range of AWS services including workload migrations and modernization, cloud native application development, DevOps, data engineering, security and compliance, and everything in between.
  • To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong project management skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage budgets effectively, and to drive alignment and accountability among all stakeholders involved.
  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred
  • Proven ability to project manage multiple events simultaneously with minimal oversight
  • Experience managing and reporting on budgets
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with Sales, partners, and vendors
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot, and Canva preferred
  • experience managing third-party vendors

  • Base Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this position is $82,000 - $98,000 CAD per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Additional Compensation Components: In addition to the base salary, the compensation package may include bonuses, commissions, equity, and other incentives.
