Full Time EMB Phenom Instructor Pilot

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough and professional pre‑ and post‑flight simulator briefings in accordance with CAE standards.
  • Maintain accurate training records, track instructional qualifications, and recommend remedial training when required.
  • Deliver simulator and classroom instruction on assigned aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and pilot qualifications.

Requirements

  • Job Description The Instructor Pilot is responsible for delivering high‑quality flight simulator and ground school training in accordance with applicable regulatory agency requirements, CAE‑approved curricula, and customer standards.
  • After approximately 1.5 years , and based on business needs, designated instructors are expected to qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman. Key
  • qualifications to obtain, an unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating .
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and other internet‑based applications.
  • Must participate in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program .
  • Ability to sit in a confined space for 4–6 hours at a time with limited breaks.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours ) with limited breaks.
  • Ability to sit, stoop, climb, twist, and turn as required for simulator instruction. Preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to tailor instruction to a diverse, global customer base.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records in compliance with CAE and FAA requirements.
