Responsibilities
- Coordinate sales opportunities that span multiple IDEXX products, especially reference laboratory services involving multiple IDEXX commercial representatives.
- Maintain contact database with accurate profiles, notes and opportunity information.
- Coordinate efforts with field sales team to retain , acquire and grow account base .
- Prioritize and make calls to prospects and existing customers .
Requirements
- Successfully complete IDEXX training on our markets, our products and selling skills.
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in animal health industry highly valued, pharmaceuticals, medical devices or related industries also desired REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: High comfort with both outbound and inbound sales activity, combining account strategy with attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills to ensure desired business outcomes Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to leverage CRM data (Salesforce) and sales analytics to drive account strategy PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Extensive sitting or standing, phone and computer use.
- Completes work with limited degree of supervision.
