Responsibilities
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production workflow - Collaboration: Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of design specifications into the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and qualify materials necessary for production - Quality Assurance: Establish and implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of product quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any production issues - Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during the production process
Requirements
- QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus - Proven
- experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly in the production of complex electromechanical systems - Familiarity with autonomous systems, robotics, or maritime technologies is highly desirable - Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies - Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to autonomous maritime systems
