Responsibilities

Validate configuration information and ensure accurate integration across software, hardware, and networked systems.
Analyze and advise on hardware and software restrictions to optimize network integration and operational effectiveness.
Conduct thorough software testing, replicate field issues in lab settings, and document results.
Report identified software bugs to development teams, and support bug resolution efforts.
Perform installations and troubleshooting on various HW platforms and across multiple projects.
Automate repetitive or time-consuming testing and configuration tasks through scripting (JavaScript, Python, C#).
Create and maintain robust documentation of testing practices, procedures, and outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings to stakeholders. Required

Serve as a backup to system administrators, supporting basic administration and troubleshooting needs.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 10 years of relevant, progressive
experience in hardware and software testing; or 2 years of
experience with a Master’s degree. Demonstrated
experience with updating firmware, validating configuration data, and analyzing complex systems.
Experience in system and network administration and ability to serve in a backup support capacity.
Experience working in and supporting secure, networked environments.

An active TS/SCI with polygraph Clearance Level Top Secret with Poly The salary range for this role is: $125,000 - $196,875 AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
