Requirements
- experience with composite molds in a production or prototyping environment - Strong working knowledge of mold preparation, release systems, and composite tooling materials - Ability to identify and repair common mold issues (scratches, pitting, delamination) - Familiarity with epoxy tooling systems, fiberglass or carbon fiber molds, and gelcoat repair - Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining high-gloss or tolerance-critical surfaces - Comfortable using power tools, polishing equipment, and hand tools -
- Person (citizen or permanent resident) required for DoD-related work PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: -
- Experience with large-format molds used in marine, aerospace, or automotive composite fabrication - Knowledge of thermal cycling and dimensional control best practices - Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems -
- Experience working with both metallic and composite molds - Forklift or crane operation experience is a plus
