Responsibilities
- Designs and implements education appropriate to patient needs and abilities.
Requirements
- In collaboration with nursing leadership, takes initiative to identify opportunities to enhance clinical practice of staff and develop effective strategies for improvement.
- The individual must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- As such, the individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development through the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s
- What We Require: Education: Master's degree in nursing required.
- experience in area of Vascular is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current nursing licensure and specialty certification.
- Must be registered as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the State of Virginia or can obtain it within 6 months of hire.
- Additional certification(s) specific to a business unit may be required (i.e.
- OB/GYN requires OB certifications and EFM preferred.
