Requirements

  • experience in Electrical Design within a high-integrity environment (Defense, Aerospace, Nuclear, or Rail).
  • Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical).
  • Deep understanding of power distribution , control circuitry , and PCB integration .
  • Experience designing for harsh environments (IP ratings, thermal management, and ruggedisation).
  • Knowledge of maritime defense standards and certification processes is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications: Degree (BEng/MEng) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it is a plus.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical engineers and production teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into ruggedised enclosures.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and peer reviews for junior members of the engineering team.
