Responsibilities
- Prepare telecommunication technical specifications.
- Support telecommunication material take-off activities, including cables and power distribution.
- Coordinate interfaces with existing telecommunication systems.
- Prepare telecommunication layouts, including CCTV and PAGA layouts.
- Manage technical correspondence with vendors.
- Review and comment on vendor drawings and technical documents.
- Perform technical review of supplier offers.
Requirements
- experience in complex engineering environments.
- Experience Essential: Strong knowledge of telecommunication systems including PAGA, Hot Line, Telephone System, CCTV System, UHF TETRA Radio System, VHF Marine Radio System, Fiber Optic Network, LAN System, Ship-to-Shore Link System, ACS, Wireless System, and Intrusion Detection System.
- Essential: Knowledge of telecommunication system installation and validation aspects.
- Essential: Understanding of applicable international standards and codes, including ISA, IEC, and ATEX.
- Essential: Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Visio, as well as AutoCAD.
- experience relevant to a Senior Telecommunication Systems Engineer position.
