Manufacturing Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

  • - Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports to support production, quality, supply chain, and leadership decision-making.
  • - Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • - Ensure end-to-end data traceability across manufacturing, inventory, quality, and planning systems.
  • - Support lean manufacturing, standard work, and continuous improvement initiatives through data and system automation.
  • - Support integrations between MES, ERP, MRP, PLM, and other enterprise systems.
  • - Collaborate with IT and software teams on APIs, data pipelines, and system interoperability.
  • - Create system documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
  • - Support new product introductions (NPI) and production scaling efforts from a systems perspective.

Requirements

  • QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. - 3+ years of
  • experience working with MES, ERP, and/or MRP systems in a manufacturing environment. - Strong
  • experience with data analysis and dashboard creation. - Proficiency with SQL and relational databases. -
  • Experience translating manufacturing processes into system and data requirements. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally. PREFERRED
  • experience with common MES or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, Siemens, Rockwell, or similar). -
  • Experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker). - Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs, lean principles, and production planning concepts. -
  • Experience supporting high-mix, low-volume or complex manufacturing environments. - Scripting or automation experience (Python, VBA, etc.).
