Requirements
- qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or a related field Approximately 6–10 years of
- experience in financial analysis and investment evaluation, including roles in valuation, corporate finance, or investment analysis Demonstrated
- experience developing and applying financial models to support investment evaluation and decision-making Strong understanding of energy asset economics, with a focus on power markets and key drivers of cash flows and risk Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial, commercial, and technical information into clear, decision-relevant insights Proven ability to communicate complex analysis effectively – verbal and written – and tailor messaging for audiences
- Experience working in cross-functional environments, with the ability to coordinate inputs and collaborate effectively with engineering, commercial, legal, accounting, tax, risk, and related teams Preferred [REQUIREMENTS] qualifications
- Experience evaluating power-related investments or opportunities, with familiarity across generation, storage, and related infrastructure
- Experience assessing commercial structures for power assets, including offtake arrangements and risk management strategies Working knowledge of North American power markets, including regulatory and policy frameworks that influence project economics, risk, and returns
- Experience working with low-carbon assets and infrastructure (e.g., CCUS, hydrogen, or other energy transition opportunities), including associated commercial and development considerations
