Requirements
- Headquartered in Roanoke, Va., you will find a robust system of award-winning hospitals, Level 1 and 3 trauma centers, Level 3 NICU, Institute of Orthopedics and Neurosciences, multi-specialty physician practices, and The Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute.
- May occasionally travel to nearby centers to receive training and/or provide work coverage. What We Require: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Limited Medical Radiology Technician license in the State of Virginia, required.
- Ability to obtain AHA BLS-HCP certification within 30 days of hire, required. Other Minimum

- Make your tomorrow with us. The Radiology Technologist , with a limited radiology technician license, performs x-rays in the diagnostic setting following established radiologic and regulatory
- requirements to ensure patient and staff safety and provides support for clinic operations (clinical and clerical) as directed and based on training, education, and competency. The Limited Radiology Technologist Performs x-ray on patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes within the licensed scope of practice, as directed by provider.
- Operates highly specialized equipment, including DR (Digital Radiography) and PACS (Patient Archive Communication System).
- Ensures equipment is in good working order and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
