Requirements
- What you'll need: Bachelor’s degree required with a major in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Policy, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or similar. 1+ years of
- experience in mine and wetland permitting at the county, state and federal level and/or comparable regulatory, permitting or related
- experience required. Candidates with strong background in environmental policy, regulatory affairs and associated field work preferred. Prior project management experience is preferred.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Demonstrated relationship-building skills Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and work under pressure Ability to resolve complex issues and handle multiple priorities Ability to travel up to 10% of the time within Florida and potentially other U.S.
- Strong background in field of ecology data collection/assessments preferred GIS

- responsibilities will include providing support to Ecology and Reclamation staff on reclaimed land and enhancement projects related to land use / habitat updates and adaptive management strategies for both reclamation and mitigation areas; support all aspects of permit modifications including conducting wetland delineations and habitat zonation; and coordinating and capturing changes to infrastructure
