Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records across internal systems to ensure seamless team visibility and continuity
- Build lasting client relationships by proactively managing policy renewals, adjusting coverage exposures, and anticipating evolving needs
- Handle inbound support inquiries and manage claims reporting with efficiency and care
- Collaborate with our technical team to surface customer feedback and contribute to ongoing platform improvements

- As a Business Insurance Specialist , you play a critical role in the sales process, supporting both sales and onboarding efforts.
- Your deep understanding of insurance, risk management, and relationship-building allows you to navigate complex scenarios, helping prospects and customers evaluate risk with confidence.
- Quote, issue, and analyze Property and Casualty insurance policies, then deliver tailored recommendations aligned to each prospect's business needs and risk profile
- As a Business Insurance Specialist, how results are achieved is paramount for your success and ultimately result in our success as an organization.
- experience in a commercial insurance sales or service role (such as Insurance Agent/Broker, Account Manager, or Account Executive) with direct, hands-on knowledge of P&C commercial product lines including Workers' Compensation, Business Owner's Policy (BOP), General Liability (GL), and Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening, targeted questioning, and the ability to translate complex insurance concepts into clear, accessible language for non-expert audiences
- This position is paid a base wage plus incentive compensation.
- The base wage range for this position is targeted at $105,000 to $125,000 per year in our New York City office.
